I had an incredible experience here! This was my second time here, it was for my surprise birthday dinner and everyone had such a great experience. First, our server was incredible, very accommodating and she went out of her way to meet dietary needs of all the guests. Second, the food was exemplary! Genuinely 11/10 and the focaccia was the best I’ve ever had.

Went here on a date on a Saturday night, made reservations before hand to be safe. They have 2 floors of seating and we sat on the first floor. The atmosphere is nice with dim lighting but the tables can be a bit small. We ordered the mussels 29 (which came with grilled foccaccia). This was delicious and I would get again, the mussels are soft and the tomato sauce adds good flavor to eat with the bread. We also got the cheese ravioli (25) with lemon butter which was buttery, salty and cheesy, and the burrata (25) with peas and arugula (this does not come with foccaccia, not sure why but you definitely should order an extra side of it to eat with this. Although an order of 2 pieces of foccaccia is 6 which is a bit high IMO.) All the food was very good and easy to share. If you like adding spice to your food, I highly recommend asking for chili oil and adding it to your food. For dessert we got the bread pudding with banana gelato. It was a nice dessert, the bread pudding had the right amount of sweetness but was a bit dense for me and the banana gelato flavor could be a miss for some people. I wouldn't get it again but not upset that we tried it. Overall a great experience and would come back again for a special occassion as it is on the pricier end for the amount of food you get.

Went here for date night and had such a good meal! Initially sat at the bar since there were no tables for our walk-in, but the bar was quite loud. They moved us to a table during our appetizers, which was a little quieter. Overall, the staff was so nice and attentive! We had focaccia, the kale & brussel salad, pizza, the mushroom pappardelle, and the chocolate torte w/ice cream. It was all so good, especially the pappardelle!! I would definitely go back!

The ingredients are great, the food was missing a little bit of salt but was delicious, I added salt after served. The soft drink was served in a small glass and even though I saw they poring from a can, they only served it once. I don’t like this type of thing, it feels like they are trying to make extra money with the drinks. I will come back to try other dishes.

Nodo is by far one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Toronto. Located on the Eastside in Leslieville, the restaurant is tucked away in a cozy location with plenty of parking options. Everything from the food, atmosphere and service was exceptional!

Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! Changing the way I look at gnocchi is no easy feat, but this New School Gnocchi has blown my preconceived notions of mushy, mealy potato gnocchi out the window. Instead, a satisfying chewy texture takes its place that bounces in your mouth, with such an addicting bite when combined with a creamy truffle mushroom sauce, sprinkled with bursts of sweetness from the corn and a deep depth of flavour from the colourful sear. The ravioli also bursts with flavour with a tangy ricotta filling, sweet grape tomatoes and a tangy but rich confit tomato sauce seasoned with garlic and basil, with a distinct chewy texture from the pasta.

I came here for a birthday and the food was great. Atmosphere was quaint and the service was relaxed and friendly. We had multiple dishes but the short rib and octopus on potatoes were my favourite. Both were perfectly cooked, and the octopus especially was so tender. I enjoyed it!
